Hayling Island boasts miles of unspoilt coastline and countryside to explore which offer a haven of peace and tranquillity for walkers and cyclists.

The beaches and shorelines around the island offer a wealth of places for swimming, sunbathing and picnicking. 

Also popular for fishing, photography and there is plenty of wildlife to spot!


Other attractions and facilities on the island include multiple golf  centres and Pitch and Putt, the mini coastal train, Funfair and amusements for all ages can be found along the seafront. There is even the Hayling  2ft gauge light railway which connects locally to the fun fair!


Activities available locally also include horse riding, a donkey sanctuary, boat trips and scenic walks along the water’s edge or along the South Downs National Park, which are within easy reach.

Other local points of interest, inc Chichester and Goodwood with its historic motor racing track and  old Portsmouth and stunning views from Portsdown hill.

Shopping facilities are within a short drive at Gunwarf Quays, Whiteley Village,  Chichester and Havant


There are a great variety of restaurants, pubs, bars, coffee shops and tea rooms on Hayling and in the surrounding areas, so days out are easy to plan with so much to do!
